1. Controller

Maximilian Freist
Feuln 15
95367 Trebgast
Germany
Email: yourmixsucks42@gmail.com

I am the controller for this website, my correspondence and the order data I receive to manage software licences and provide support.

2. Visiting the website and using the software

Website. My web host, ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany), processes your IP address and the page you request so it can deliver the page to your browser. Website access logging is disabled in my hosting account. My legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Software. My software products run locally. They do not contact external servers, check licences or updates online, or collect telemetry or send crash reports. If you connect a product to a lighting console or another application, it exchanges control data with the equipment or software you configure. I do not receive that data.

3. Email and support

When you email me, I use your email address, message and any details you include to answer your inquiry. I need a reply address and enough information to understand the issue. If your request concerns a purchase, I may also need your order reference to locate it. For contractual support and steps you ask me to take before entering a contract, I rely on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, I rely on my legitimate interest in answering them (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

I use Gmail, provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland. Google processes sender and recipient details, message content and technical delivery data. It may process email data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified US entities, and standard contractual clauses where applicable. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s data transfer safeguards and clauses.

4. Checkout, downloads and order data

The purchase buttons on maxfreist.com are standard links to a checkout hosted by Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC, Utah, USA). Product pages do not load an embedded checkout. When you open the checkout or a download link, your browser connects to Lemon Squeezy and transmits your IP address. Lemon Squeezy hosts and delivers the software files.

As the seller, Lemon Squeezy acts as an independent controller for checkout, payment, taxes, invoicing and refunds. You provide the required order and payment details directly to Lemon Squeezy. Without them, it cannot complete the purchase. Its Privacy Policy explains its processing, including cookies and international transfers.

After a purchase, I receive order details from Lemon Squeezy. These may include your name, email address, country, product, order reference, date and amount. I use the details I need to administer your licence, provide support, send required update notices and help resolve refund requests (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I also use the records required for tax and accounting purposes (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Where necessary, I disclose relevant records to my professional advisers or the competent authorities.

5. How long I keep data

I delete support correspondence once the matter is resolved, unless I still need it to fulfil a contractual obligation, deal with a related claim or meet a statutory retention duty. I keep the order details needed to document your licence for as long as they are needed for that purpose. If I retain records to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, I rely on my legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The usual retention periods under German tax law depend on the type of record.

  • 8 years for accounting vouchers, including invoices that serve as vouchers.
  • 6 years for business correspondence subject to statutory retention.
  • 10 years for accounting books and annual financial statements.

The periods generally run from the end of the calendar year in which the voucher was created, the correspondence was received or sent, or the last book entry was made or the financial statement prepared. Tax proceedings may require longer retention. See section 147 of the German Fiscal Code.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability.

Right to object. Where I process data on the basis of a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU or EEA country where you live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred. To exercise your rights concerning my processing, email yourmixsucks42@gmail.com. For requests concerning Lemon Squeezy’s own processing as seller, contact Lemon Squeezy through its Privacy Policy.
